At Bromo Ijen Crater Tour, we strive to deliver exceptional travel experiences. However, we understand that plans may change. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding cancellations and refund requests for bookings made through our services.

2. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds may be granted under the following conditions:

  • More than 15 Days Before Tour Date:
    Customers who cancel their booking 15 days or more prior to the scheduled tour departure date are eligible for a partial refund, subject to deduction of any administrative fees, reservation costs, or third-party charges (e.g., park permits, transportation tickets).

  • 14 Days or Less Before Tour Date:
    Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled departure are not eligible for any refund. This is due to costs already incurred for permits, guides, and accommodations that cannot be refunded by third-party providers.

  • No-show or Last-Minute Cancellation:
    Guests who do not arrive or cancel on the day of the tour will be charged 100% of the total booking cost.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items and services are non-refundable once purchased or confirmed:

  • National Park entrance fees and permits

  • Ferry tickets or transport vouchers

  • Accommodation bookings made on your behalf

  • Government service fees

  • Payment gateway transaction fees (if applicable)

5. Changes to Itinerary

If you wish to reschedule your trip, we may allow it once without penalty if the request is received at least 10 days in advance, and subject to availability. If price changes apply (due to peak season, upgraded services, etc.), you will be notified in advance.

6. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Circumstances)

No refunds will be provided in cases of cancellation due to force majeure events, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters (volcano eruption, earthquake, flood, etc.)

  • Government-imposed travel restrictions

  • Political unrest or riots

  • Pandemics or health emergencies

  • Airline/transport delays or cancellations

In such events, we will do our best to offer an alternative date or re-schedule, depending on the situation and availability.

7. Responsibility of the Customer

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all travel documents, health certifications (e.g., for Ijen Crater hike), and arrival schedules are in order.

  • Failure to comply with mandatory health or permit requirements will not be considered a valid reason for refund.

8. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellations, delays, health issues, or other unexpected disruptions. This provides an additional layer of protection in case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

9. Refund Processing Time

Refunds (when applicable) will be issued via:

  • Bank transfer (for domestic/international customers)

Processing typically takes 7 to 14 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider. Any transaction or bank fees may be deducted from the final refund amount.
