Tour itinerary of Java holiday tour

Day 01: Trip from Malang or Surabaya to Tumpak Sewu waterfall tours and the Ijen crater stay

  • 06.00-10.00: Our team will meet you either in Malang or Surabaya around at 06.00 am or by the latest at 07.00 am, - then we will drive for about 2-3 hours from Malang OR for about 3-4 hours from Surabaya to reach the parking lot in Tumpak Sewu waterfall area as the first destination of our exploring tour in East Java.

  • Today tours will invite and challenge you to visit this most beautiful waterfall in Java Island, when arriving at the gate of the waterfall, you will be invited to do trekking for approximately 30 – 45 minutes to reach the waterfall panorama point

  • We will do morning holiday trip and do the trekking tours activity in Tumpak Sewu waterfall with amzing view of the biggest waterfall in East Java. Afterward', Drive to Mount Bromo stay in cozy homestay or hotel with breakfast

  • 12.00-20.00: After enjoy adventure trekking and amazing view in Tumpak Sewu waterfall; we will continue our trip to reach your accommodation in Ijen crater, - Banyuwangi area for about 7 – 9 hours driving (it depends on traffic situation).- And today, you will overnight stay in Ijen crater/ Banyuwangi area

Day 02: Ijen crater tour with possibility to see the blue flame and then to the Bromo area stay

  • 00.30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow 

  • 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then hiking activities to reach top of Ijen for about 2-2.5 hours. Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is allowed by the Ijen crater officer, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.00-10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp. Then, leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, and take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation or hotel

  • 11.00-17.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to continue our trip for about 6-7 hours driving to reach your accommodation/ hotel in Mount Bromo area with possibility to stop at local restaurant for having meals and drinks. 

  • On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small cities, plantations, rainforest and beaches. Upon your arrival Mount Bromo area, you will stay overnight at the hotel or other type of accommodation before you do the sunrise tours and Mt Bromo hiking in the next day with jeep vehicle with which will be prepared by the local community

  • >>> Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed to do night climbing, you can do the standard Ijen crater tours without seeing blue fire which will be started from your accommodation around after at 2 am.- And so on,,,,

Day 03: Sunrise viewing and Bromo tour with mount hiking activity, - then drive to the Yogyakarta stay

  • 02.30/ 03.00: Please be ready at the front of your accommodation to do jeep vehicle tour activities to see the great panorama of sunrise view in one of the best sunrise view points of Mount Bromo area

  • 06.00-08.00: Leave area of the sunrise view point to drive down to the jeep parking lot which locates on the slope of Bromo and surrounded with wide seas sand. Crossing the seas of sand on foot or with horse riding (it is as optional for you with distance 10 minutes walking / one way) to reach the bottom area of Bromo where there are more than 250 stairs which will direct you to reach peak of Mount Bromo.

  • Resting for awhile and take the pictures on the top of Mount Bromo with amazing view of the Bromo crater which on the bottom area is spread out the seas of sand or famous with whispering sand and it is bordered with other mountains as natural backgrounds

  • 08.00-10.00: Drive back to accommodation (hotel/ homestay) for breakfast, take a shower, loading the bags into the car. Afterward', around at 10.00/ 11.00 am,- drive to the Yogyakarta stay (homestay/ hotel  + breakfast) for 7-8 hours.- And today, you will overnight stay in Yogyakarta area

Day 04: Full day trip from Yogyakarta to Jomblang and Pindul cave adventure tours

  • 7.00 - 08.30: Start to drive from the Yogyakarta hotel in the morning and meet our team to escort you to reach the Jomblang cave adventure tours. And upon your arrival time  in area of Jomblang cave location at 08.30 am, please take a morning hot coffee or tea 

  • 9.30 - 13.00: Start doing an amazing adventure tour activity to the vertical cave of Jomblang. Special holiday trip for the vertical cave exploration as 90 meters deep with a complete pulley system with international standard safety equipment as well for your adventure tour in Yogyakarta area, Central Java.

  • 13.00 - 14.00: Finish caving tour activities. Enjoy lunch box with local taste/ food. Afterward, drive to Pindul Cave area for next cave tour activities

  • 14.30 - 18.00: Tubing tour activities into Pindul Cave. And at late noon, we will drive to escort you back to your hotel in Yogyakarta for take a rest and overnight stay

Day 05: A day tour Jogja to Borobudur and Prambanan temples with shuttle transport

  • Today,- if you wanna do an optional tour program for visiting the Borobudur and Prambanan temples, kindly check-out from your hotel in Yogyakarta area in the morning time and for cheapest option,- please arrange your own transport to do the Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours (with taxi online, hotel transport services OR the public transport with shuttle services) 

  • Based on the newest term/ condition to visit Borobudur temple that there is regulation for limiting the number of visitors until the top of Borobudur temple each day which will be opened at around 08.30 am (* the temples will be closed every Monday weekly). The other side,- you are required to buy the entrance tickets into the both temples 

  • For the Borobudur temple entrance tickets, please buy it in advance with online method via this link; https://ticket.borobudurpark.com/en/  and the visitors or tourists can choose one of 2 option tickets to enter Borobudur temple area, as follow:

    • The temple ground/ yard ticket; It is only for the ground area of temple and not allowed to visit untill the top of Borobudur temple

    • The temple structure ticket; it is to visit the ground area of temple includes to go up till the 9th floor of Borobudur temple

  • When you have done the optional tour program to visit Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours as stated above, please ask the driver to escort you to your next hotel/ place in Yogyakarta
