Tour itinerary

Day 01: Drive from Malang or Surabaya to Ijen crater stay 

  • Start from airport, train’s station or hotel either in Malang or Surabaya (please let us know where we have to meet you), our staff will meet you then escort you to the small town of Banyuwangi regency where Ijen Crater Located. The journey takes approximately 7-8 hours driving by private car with air conditioned with possible stops en route for having lunch at local restaurant on the way.

  • On this trip, you will pass rural landscape, small city, plantations, rainforest and beaches. Upon your arrival Banyuwangi, you will stay overnight at Ketapang Indah Hotel or similar hotel before enjoy Ijen crater tour on the next day.

Day 02: Ijen crater tour with possible to see a blue fire tours and drive to Mt. Bromo stay

  • Around at 00.30 or by the latest at 01.00 am (midnight time), our staff will meet you at the lobby of your accommodation or hotel. Then we will continue our trip for 1 – 1.5 hours driving to reach parking lot in the post 1 of Paltuding or this is well-known as the starting point for the climbing activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing activities in Mount Ijen as follow

  • 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen. Hoping around at 04.00/ 04.30 am, we arrived on the top of Ijen cater and fo do observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.00-17.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Mount Ijen till reach the base camp of Paltuding or parking area. Around at 08.00, We will leave the Ijen crater area to continue our trip Bromo for about 5-6 hours driving by a private car with AC. Upon arrival in Mount Bromo, you will stay at Lava View Lodge, Bromo Permai Hotel, SM Bromo Hotel or similar hotel which is located on the rim of tengger region for enjoyable stay. 

*** Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or NOT allowed to do night climbing, it means, you will do the standard Ijen crater tours (basic Ijen crater tour) without seeing the blue fire which will be started from Banyuwangi area around at 02.30 am and - so on
 

Day 03: Jeep riding to see sunrise view and Bromo tour,- then take a train to Yogyakarta station 

  • Wake up in the early morning (around in the dawn time around at 03:30 am) and we will use a jeep which will be ready in the front of your hotel to start your trip to enjoy for Bromo sunrise tour which is located on the tengger region as known as a view point to see sunrise with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as background.

  • If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

    # King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong
    # Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo
    # Mount Panajakan or Gunung Penanjakan
     

  • After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo.

  • Afterward, we will drive back to your hotel for having for having breakfast, take shower, packing, loading bags into the vehicle and then we will continue our trip to reach to Surabaya train station for taking a train to Yogyakarta at 16:40 – 20:50 pm.

  • Upon your arrival in Yogyakarta train station, we will escort for overnight stay at hotel before continue your trip in Yogyakarta for Jomblang and Pindul cave adventure tour includes visiting Borobudur and Prambanan temple as well

Day 04: Jomblang and Pindul cave tour - drive back to hotel 

  • 7.00 - 08.30: Pick you up from your hotel in Yogyakarta area. And upon your arrival time  in area of Jomblang cave location at 08.30 am, please take a morning hot coffee or tea 

  • 9.30 - 13.00: Start doing an amazing adventure tour activity to the vertical cave of Jomblang. Special holiday trip for the vertical cave exploration as 90 meters deep with a complete pulley system with international standard safety equipment as well for your adventure tour in Yogyakarta area, Central Java.

  • 13.00 - 14.00: Finish caving tour activities. Enjoy lunch box with local taste/ food. Afterward, drive to Pindul Cave area for next cave tour activities

  • 14.30 - 16.00: Tubing tour activities into Pindul Cave. And at late noon, we will drive back to escort you to your hotel in Yogyakarta.- Then around at 18.00, we will drop off to your hotel for take a rest and overnight stay

Day 05: Trip to Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours

  • Based on the newest term/ condition to visit Borobudur temple that there is regulation for limiting the number of visitors until the top of Borobudur temple each day which will be opened at around 08.30 am

  • Please pay/ buy IN ADVANCE for the both Borobudur and Prambanan temple tickets on this link https://ticket.borobudurpark.com/en/  . For Borobudur temple ticket, The visitors or tourists can choose one of 2 option tickets to enter Borobudur temple area, as follow:

    • The temple ground/ yard ticket; It is only for the ground area of temple and not allowed to visit untill the top of Borobudur temple

    • The temple structure ticket; it is to visit the ground area of temple includes to go up till the 9th floor of Borobudur temple

  • Start in the morning time from Yogyakarta with a taxi online OR rent a private car (your own arrangement) to do optional full day trip from Yogyakarta to Borobudur and Prambanan temple tour till at late noon. So, we suggest you to check-out from your hotel in the morning time when you start this trip

  • Today, when you have done the Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours, you will finish this trip in Yogyakarta area
