Tour itinerary

Day 01: Optional of full day trip from Yogyakarta to Borobudur and Prambanan temples tour, then take an evening train to Probolinggo station

  • Today,- for you who love and wanna do the heritage tour, you can do optional tour program in Yogyakarta to visit Borobudur and Prambanan temple, Kindly arrange your own transport (with taxi online or hotel transport) - but you are required to buy the entrance tickets into the both temples (Borobudur and Prambanan temples) IN ADVANCE with online booking via this link  https://ticket.borobudurpark.com/en/  .

  • Based on the newest term/ condition to visit Borobudur temple that there is regulation for limiting the number of visitors until the top of Borobudur temple each day which will be opened at around 08.30 am (* the temples will be closed every Monday weekly)

  • For Borobudur temple ticket, The visitors or tourists can choose one of 2 option tickets to enter Borobudur temple area, as follow:

    • The temple ground/ yard ticket; It is only for the ground area of temple and not allowed to visit untill the top of Borobudur temple

    • The temple structure ticket; it is to visit the ground area of temple includes to go up till the 9th floor of Borobudur temple

  • When you have done the Borobudur and Prambanan temple tours completely,- drive and drop off to your hotel in Yogyakarta for take a rest

  • 16.50 - 01.30: Check out process from your accommodation or hotel in Yogyakarta,- and Kindly book a taxi online for cheapest option to Yogyakarta train station (Tugu train station) to take an executive train from Yogyakarta to Probolinggo train station of East Java at 18.40 pm and will arrive in Probolinggo train station around at 01.45 am

Day 02: Pick up service in Probolinggo to Mt Bromo tour for sunrise view and Bromo hike activities, then to Ijen crater stay

  • Upon your arrival in Probolinggo train station around at 01.45 am, our representatif team/ driver will meet you and drive to the parking lot or rest area of Mt Bromo for about 1.5 hrs driving,- and then, We will use a jeep which will be ready to start your trip for Bromo sunrise tours which is located on the tengger region and it is well known as the best point to see sunrise with its young volcanic, including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as the natural backgrounds.

  • If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains and it will give impression like unforgettable thing on mind & heart as a creation from the God. You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as:

# King Kong hill or Bukit King Kong
# Love hill of Bromo or Bukit Cinta Bromo
# Mount Pananjakan or Gunung Penanjakan 

  • After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will bring us to continue our trip to reach the parking area for 4WD vehicle (jeep) by passing the amazing view on the slope of Mount Bromo, then from parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mount Bromo which it will lead you to reach to the peak of Mout Bromo.

  • After enjoy nice view in Mount Bromo and around at 08:00, we will escort you to one of the hotel or restaurants which is located on the rim of Mount Bromo area for breakfast and may you wanna get a toilet, and then we will continue our trip to Hotel in area of Ijen crater for about 5-7 hours driving. In this route will pass rural landscape, small cities, rice fields, plantations and beaches.

  • Lunch will be served on the way at local restaurant,- And about at late afternoon or in the early evening, we will reach at your hotel in area of Ijen crater then overnight stay before you do Ijen crater climbing tours on the next morning

Day 03: Night trip from Banyuwangi to Ijen crater tour, and escort you to Bali 

  • 00:30 or 01.00 am: This trip will be started from your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area around at 00:30 am or at least at 01:00 am and then drives for about 1 hour to reach the post 1 of Paltuding or this is as the starting point for the hiking activities in Ijen crater and then you will do the climbing actitivities in Mount Ijen as follow 

  • 02.00-06.00: The preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen for about 2-2.5 hours. Observation of the Milky Way + the seeing process of blue fire and if it is needed with your request, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with better and clearer view, then afterward viewing of sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

  • 06.00-10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp. Then, leaving the Ijen crater area to escort you back to your accommodation or hotel for having breakfast, take shower, and take your own time in hotel area and then preparation to leave your accommodation or hotel in Ijen area

  • 11.00-17.00: Leaving your accommodation or hotel to reach Ketapang ferry port – Banyuwangi and crossing Bali strait for about 1-1.5 hours with a ferry to reach Gilimanuk ferry port in Bali Island.

  • Upon  arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will drive to your hotel in Bali as the last destination of your trip, such as: Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusadua or Jimbaran area for about 3 - 4 hours and our services finished for Java Bali holiday trip has finished. 

# Note: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed to do night climbing, you can do the standard Ijen crater tours without seeing blue fire which will be started from your accommodation after at 2 am,- and so on .
