Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Banyuwangi & Free Time

• Our team will warmly welcome you upon your arrival at the airport, train station, bus terminal, or ferry port in the Banyuwangi area. From there, we will drive you directly to your chosen accommodation (a comfortable hotel or a cozy homestay) near the Ijen crater area. You will have an overnight stay here to rest and prepare for the midnight volcano trek.

• Optional Tour Program: If you arrive early, the weather is clear, and you still have free time, you can join an optional tour (at an additional cost). Choose from an adventurous safari in Baluran National Park, a snorkeling trip at Tabuhan Island/Bangsring Underwater, or an exhilarating water rafting experience in Songgon.

Day 02: Ijen Blue Fire Trekking & Transfer to Bali

• 00:30 AM: We will pick you up from your accommodation in Banyuwangi or Bondowoso and drive for about an hour to reach Paltuding base camp.

• 01:30 AM: Arrival at Paltuding (Post 1), the official starting point for the Ijen Crater hike

 Important Notes:

• If the weather is bad, or if you are feeling too tired for the midnight climb, the tour can be adjusted to a regular morning hike starting at 02:00 AM from your hotel. While you will miss the blue fire, you can still enjoy the stunning sunrise and the view of the green sulfur lake (subject to weather conditions).

• Optional Tour: If time permits before leaving for Bali, you can add a Banyuwangi City sightseeing tour (additional cost applies).

• 02:00 AM - 06:00 AM: Begin the exciting climb to the summit of Mount Ijen. Once at the top, you can observe the milky way. If conditions permit and the Ijen officers allow it, we will safely descend to the edge of the crater lake to witness the mesmerizing blue fire. Afterward, we will ascend back to the peak to catch a breathtaking sunrise. Take your time to rest and take pictures with the iconic, acidic green sulfur lake as your natural backdrop.

• 06:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Trek down following the same route back to Paltuding base camp. We will then drive back to your accommodation. Bonus trip (conditional): On the way back, we can make a short stop at the beautiful Jagir Waterfall, often referred to as Banyuwangi's mini Niagara.

• 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Arrive back at your accommodation. Enjoy a well-deserved breakfast, take a shower, and pack your luggage.

• 11:00 AM / 12:00 PM (Latest): We will check out and head directly to Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi. We will cross the Bali Strait by ferry (approximately a 1-hour journey) to reach Gilimanuk Port on the western tip of Bali.

• Bali Drop-off: Upon arrival in Gilimanuk, our driver will continue the journey to drop you off at your next destination in Bali (Pemuteran, Lovina, Ubud, Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Legian, Kerobokan, or Canggu).
