Detail itinerary

Day 01: Overland trip from Bali to Banyuwangi via both Bali - Java port, and continue driving to Mount Bromo area

• 12.00/ 13.00 : Around at 12:00 or by the latest at 13.00 pm (it's conditional), you are required to be ready at the Bali airport OR lobby of your hotel in area of Ubud, Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, Kerobokan, Legian or Canggu- (for pick up services at Pemuteran, Lovina area will be started at later time than stated above) 

• Afterward, you will take a private car with our Bali driver to do a trip from Bali area above to Gilimanuk ferry port which locates on the westernmost tip of Bali for about 3-5 hours driving (it depends on traffic situation)

• And upon arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, you will proceed to cross the Bali strait with a ferry which will be accompanied by our Bali colleague (without car).- The ferry will cross Bali strait  to reach Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi (in the easternmost tip of Java Island) for 1 – 1.5 hours .

• 19.00/ 18.00 ; Hoping around at 19 pm Bali time OR 18 pm Java time - You'll arrive at Ketapang ferry port - Banyuwangi, East Java - Indonesia (Please remember that there is one hour difference time between Bali and Java time)

• 18.00 ; Upon your arrival in Ketapang ferry port - Banyuwangi, you will meet with our Java team (driver), and continue your trip for about 6 – 8 hours driving to reach the vehicle parking lot if  Mount Bromo area.

• The trip to reach Mount Bromo with possibility to stop at restaurant for having meal, drinks and get public toilet (meal cost and drinks will be your own expenses)

Notes; This route trip quite tiring and without stay in accommodation.- You may can take a rest/ sleep on the car - but it will make the tour cost will become to be a cheap option/ affordable

Day 02: Jeep ride for sunrise viewpoint tours, and Bromo summit hike activity, and then to Banyuwangi homestay

• Hoping around at 02.30 OR by the latest at 03.00 am,- You'll arrive at parking lot of Mount Bromo area and meet with a jeep driver who will be ready to escort you to visit point of sunrise view tours in Mount Bromo area which is located on the tengger region

• Witness the golden sunrise view with its young volcanic including Mount Bromo and an active Mount Semeru as naturaly backgrounds from a distance. If it is not foggy, the sunlight when the sunrise will play light shadow which it come up from the sidelines of the mountains.

• It will give impression like unforgettable thing on your mind and heart as one of amazing creations of the God.- You can choose one of the places to see sunrise in Mount Bromo area such as: Mount Penanjakan sunrise viewpoint, King Kong hill sunrise viewpoint, OR Love hill sunrise viewpoint

• After a short break and take pictures, our jeep will take us to continue our trip to reach the parking lot jeep vehicles by passing the amazing view of seas of sands with bordered with hills on the slope of Mount Bromo

• Then, from the parking area you are required to cross the seas of sand on the slope of Mount Bromo by horse riding or on foot (it is optional) till reach to bottom area of the stairs up (more than 250 stairs) on the bottom of Mt Bromo which will lead you to reach the Bromo summit.

• After enjoying nice view Bromo crater, seas of sand which is bordered by hills and viewing Mount Semeru from a distance as the natural backdrops which will add memorable of your holiday trip with Bromo tour package in East Java - Indonesia.

• Afterward, around at 08:00 am or by the latest at 09.00 am, We'll leave Mount Bromo and go to accommodation in Ijen crater - Banyuwangi area for about 5-7 hours driving.- On this route, we will pass the countryside, small cities, rice fields, plantations and beaches. 

• Around afternoon or in evening, we will reach at your homestay in Ijen crater area - Banyuwangi, then overnight stay before you do Ijen climbing with a blue fire tour which will be started from your hotel at midnight time OR dawn time.  

Day 03: Night trip from Banyuwangi to Ijen crater for volcano hike and blue fire Ijen tour,- and then go back to Bali with shared transport

• 01.00 ; Around at 01.00 am,- our driver will meet you at your homestay in Banyuwangi, and drive for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach parking lot in Ijen crater area OR the post Paltuding which is well-known as the starting point for the Ijen crater hike tour activity,- and then you will do the Mount Ijen hiking activity as follow;

• 02.00 - 06.00 : Hopely - around at 02.00 am, we will arrive at Paltuding base camp and you will be ready to do Ijen crater tour, such as; the preparation and then climbing activities to reach top of Ijen for about 2-2.5 hours.

• When you arrived on the top of Ijen crater, you may can do the observation of the Milky Way.- And if it is allowed by Ijen crater officer, we will descend to reach the edge of lake to see blue fire with the clearer viewing.

• Afterward, you will ascend back to the top for viewing the sunrise on the peak of Mount Ijen and take a rest with an amazing view the green lake of sulfur as natural backgrounds which can forget how tired for the climbing process in Ijen crater

• 06.00 - 10.00: Go down by passing the same route or path on the slope of Ijen till reach the Paltuding base camp.- And around at 09.00 am, leaving the Ijen crater area to continue your holiday travel to escort you to the homestay in Banyuwangi area for breakfast, take a shower, packing the luggage and ready to leave the homestay

• 11.00 - 13.00 : Afterward, around at 11 am or by the latest at 13 pm, you will be picked up by a driver of shared transport/ car to reach the Ketapang ferry port which is located in the easternmost tip of Java Island. We’ll cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach to Gilimanuk ferry port in the most western tip of Bali Island.

  Upon  arrival in Gilimanuk ferry port, the driver will continue to reach destination of each passanger, such as;  Sanur, Kuta, Legian, Kerobokan, Seminyak or Canggu area for about 4-5 hours. And then our services of Bromo Ijen crater tour from Bali - return has DONE!

Notes: If the weather is NOT good or you are tired or not allowed to do night climbing by Ijen officer, you can do the standard Ijen crater tours without seeing blue fire which will be started from your accommodation after at 2 am,- and later on.
