One day trip at night time from your hotel in Pemuteran in West of Bali Island to Gilimanuk ferry port to cross Bali strait at night time with a ferry to reach to the Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island & drive to Ijen crater for blue fire Ijen crater tours or Ijen blue fire tours and then back to Pemuteran 

Tour itinerary:
Day 01: Night trip from Pemuteran for Ijen blue fire tours & back to Pemuteran

Around at 24:00 pm in Bali time or at 23:00 pm in Java time, our staff will pick you up from your hotel in Pemuteran area and we will drive for about 30 minutes with a private car to reach the Gilimanuk ferry port which is located in the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival time in Gilimanuk ferry port, we will proceed to take a ferry for crossing Bali strait for and it will take about 1 – 1.5 hours to reach The Ketapang ferry port in Banyuwangi which is located in the most eastern tip of Java Island. We hope to arrive in Ketapang ferry port around at 01:00 am (midnight in Bali time) or at 24:00 pm (midnight in Java time), and we will continue our trip for about 1 – 1.5 hours driving to reach parking area in Ijen crater which is well known as post 1 Paltuding or as starting point for Ijen crater trekking. From this place, we will re-check the trekking equipment, such as: torch or flashlight & gas mask. If you do not have gas mask, you can rent it to local people or mining worker who will be ready in the parking area of Ijen Crater. Do not forget to keep well your stamina, and we will pray before for starting to do climbing Mount Ijen crater. The climbing in Ijen crater will need for about 1.5 – 2.5 hours (it is depend on your stamina) to reach peak of Mount Ijen. If the weather is good enough, you may see the Milky Way on the top of Mount Ijen but you are required o use your Smartphone apps. 

From the top of Mount Ijen, you will be accompanied by our staff & sulfur mining worker who are expert with the paths on the Ijen Crater to descend to reach to the Crater area where the mining worker looking for chunk of sulfur which comes from sulfur liquid that flows through a special pipe which are prepared by them before. The other side, the crater area will display the main attraction for the visitors and it is popular and well known as blue fire or blue flame. The blue fire in Ijen Crater is ignited by natural of sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit) and the flames can be up to 5 meters (16 feet) high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited. It is the largest blue flame area in the world and local people refer to it as Blue Fire. After enjoy spectacular view of Blue Fire in Ijen Crater, we will ascend back to the top of Ijen Crater to see Sunrise and afterward, you will see also green lake of sulfur and daily activities of mining worker in Ijen Crater with natural backgrounds surrounding.  Resting on the edge of the crater at an altitude of 2883 meters and enjoy best panorama of the lake of sulfate where reflects spectacular view in the surrounding walls to give the impression like unforgettable thing. The sulfur mining workers go down into the crater and climb back up by passing dangerous path on the edge of Ijen Crater with the load as much as 80 kilograms on their shoulders. This is really a dangerous & hard job. Here also, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery in the crater of Ijen as one of God’s amazing creation. Do not forget to take pictures in this area as a proof that you have visited one of the most amazing places on earth. 

After enjoyed the natural scenery at Crater of Ijen and then you will descend the slope of Mount Ijen until vehicles parking area where our vehicle is waiting to escort you out directly to Ferry Port in Ketapang (most eastern tip of Java Island) to cross Bali strait by ferry for about 1-1.5 hours to reach Port of Gilimanuk in the most western tip of Bali Island. Upon arrival in Gilimanuk port, we will continue to drive back to your hotel in Pemuteran area and your trip from Pemuteran to Ijen blue fire tours finished

Entrance ticket: You are required to pay entrance tickets during your trip by yourself and please show your id card. Cost for entrance tickets are mentioned below:
~ Ticket in Ijen crater is IDR. 100.000 per person on working days & IDR. 150.000 per person on public holidays
(Note: Indonesian citizen will get cheaper cost for entrance ticket as a local people)

What items you should bring: Comfortable shoes for trekking, warm clothes, simple mask & flashlights
